Western Chief Kids Giveaway Hosted by Pea of Sweetness
Sponsored by Western Chief Kids
Co-Hosted by Dividing by Zero, Raising Soldiers 4 Christ, and Deals of Sweetness
Western Chief Kids is introducing the new Flash ‘N Splash Light Up Rain Boots in four different styles for Spring 2014, and they’re a big hit! It’s no wonder! What kid doesn’t love light up shoes? Now they can have rain boots that light up every time they stomp and jump in puddles? It’s a dream come true! When Emilee from Pea of Sweetness was introduced to them she thought she would even love a pair in her size!
Although they don’t make them in her size, she received a pair for their preschooler to review. Besides when he is nice enough to lend them to his big sister for some fun, he is almost always wearing them – or wanting to wear them! He loves that they’re soft inside, and he can pull them on by himself with the pull handles! See more in her full Flash ‘N Splash Light Up Rain Boots Review.
Which pair would you choose if you were the winner? I am loving the multi-colored ones, but I’m also partial to the pink ones. Can you tell I have 2 daughters? Yes, I have a son too but he’s not in the age of playing in mud puddles anymore.
If you know a child that would love these boots as well, here is your chance to win a pair! This giveaway begins on 3/6 at 7:00pm and ends on 3/20 at 11:00pm (times are Central) and is open to US residents ages 18+. Winner will have their choice of style and size. * Exact style and color subject to availability. Please refer to the full terms and conditions in the Giveaway Tools.
Disclosure: Emilee from Pea of Sweetness and Deals of Sweetness received free product in exchange for an honest review. Participating bloggers are not responsible for prize fulfillment.
I have only ever owned a box fan so getting to review a tower fan was awesome. The Ozeri 360 Tower Fan rotates 360 degrees but can also rotate 60, 90, 120 degrees, or not at all. You can also choose from 3 different breeze patterns; normal, nature, or sleep. It also has a built in timer so the fan will automatically shut off anywhere from 30 minutes to 8 hours depending on what you choose. One thing I have never noticed on a fan before is a thermostat, the Ozeri 360 Tower Fan has one though. When you select the thermostat the fan will select the proper speed setting to achieve the target room temperature, and will turn off and on to maintain that temperature.
I have to sleep with a fan on all year round, no matter how cold outside, so one of the features that I really like about this fan is the night mode display. When in night mode the icons on the screen are dimmed so you’re not lighting up your bedroom at night. I also love that this fan doesn’t take up a ton of real estate like a box fan does. This fan has so many great features! It even comes with a remote!! Yep, seems everything comes with a remote these days, but you won’t be losing this one. There’s a little cubby on the back of the fan that holds the remote when you’re not using it.
I love my new fan and can’t wait to use it even more when the weather warms up to bring in some fresh air from outside! You can purchase this and many other great Ozeri products on Amazon!
Yep, Nature’s Sleep has gone mad! Today you can get a whopping 65% off your total purchase of Nature’s Sleep products! That means you could get an awesome bed, awesome sleep for the next 10 years, and money left in your wallet all at the same time. Now that’s one sale I’d be willing to hit up!
*This sale is for 24-hours only Please note that foundations are not included
As a child I didn’t sit inside on a computer, gaming system, or in front of a TV. I played outside until it got dark and even then sometimes continued to play outside catching lighting bugs or hide and seek. I don’t watch much TV myself these days but I am on my computer basically from the time I get up until I go to bed at night. This definitely would not be the case if it weren’t my source of income though. I would be completely happy to spend my time outside playing in my flower beds. I think Come Back Dear Sun has a wonderful message for children who don’t seem to use their imaginations all that much anymore. With all the TV shows, computers, and games they don’t need to use their imaginations.
When the sun disappears for a long time, curious Kaylee cannot wait to have the sunshine back. Her imaginative plan unfolds like only an eight-year-old can conceive, and the wonder and smiles begin. She and her six-year-old sister, Mattie, along with their two friends, Fran and Lilly, plan an adventurous sleepover in an attempt to coax the sun into shining again. In a very imaginative way, they talk to the moon only to discover that the moon is very tired due to working overtime during the sun’s absence.
I love that this book encourages children to go outside and use their imaginations again. I don’t know how many times my oldest daughter has told me that she doesn’t have an imagination or doesn’t know how to use it when her younger sister doesn’t want to play with her. Once the weather starts to warm up I vow we will be spending most of our time outdoors without TV and video games as a distraction. I may still have to take my computer outside and work out there but as least my kids will be getting the much needed sunshine and exercise they’ve truly been lacking this winter.
